Panthers Crack into the Top 25

MELBOURNE, Fla. (Men’s Basketball) – After receiving 13 votes in last week’s National Association of
Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II Coaches Poll, Florida Tech’s men’s basketball team cracked into the esteemed Top 25 Tuesday. The Panthers garnered 23
votes this week to rank 24th in the NCAA.   At 8-0, the Panthers are one of 15 teams in the poll with an unblemished record. Among those
perfect teams is Sunshine State Conference foe Rollins, which remains at #4 this week at 6-0. Coincidentally, the Tars are Tech’s next league opponent. The
two teams tip off at 7:30 p.m. in the second game of a double-header on Wednesday, Jan. 9.   In the meantime, the Panthers have two more contests
before the Holiday break. The team first hosts St. Thomas University at 5:30 p.m. next Tuesday, Dec. 18, then plays at Palm Beach Atlantic University at 7
p.m., Thursday, Dec. 20.
