Florida Tech Receives $20,000 from Northrop Grumman

– The Northrop Grumman Airborne Ground Surveillance and Battle Management Systems site, in Melbourne, presented a check for $20,000 to Florida Tech Dean of
Engineering Thomas Waite. The check, given at a recent university career fair in the Clemente Center, is part of Northrop Grumman’s $100,000 commitment
over five years, intended to support the college’s instructional needs.

Waite.

The College of Engineering offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in aerospace, chemical, civil, computer, mechanical, electrical and ocean
engineering as well as computer science, oceanography and the environmental sciences, including meteorology. Master’s degrees are available in software
engineering, environmental resources management, coastal zone management and engineering management. A program in meteorology is available, leading to a
bachelor of science degree.
