Florida Tech Summer Commencement Happening July 28

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Hundreds of graduate and undergraduate students from across the country and around the world will participate in Florida Institute of Technology’s summer commencement starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 28.

There will be an anticipated 380 students attending the ceremony at the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center on the Florida Tech campus, comprised of 285 graduate students and 95 undergraduates. The students represent 33 U.S. states and 37 countries.

Overall, the university will bestow 572 degrees, including 120 degrees earned online and 96 from Florida Tech’s off-site locations.

Florida Tech President Dwayne McCay will offer remarks at the ceremony, including a colorful look at the university’s visionary founding president, Jerome Keuper.
