Cars Galore at Florida Tech Campus Show

– The Florida Tech Sports Car Club will host its second annual Charity Car Show on Sunday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the Florida Tech campus. The
show will take place between the Clemente Center for Sports and Recreation and the F.W. Olin Engineering Complex, on University Blvd. The show is free to
browsers.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the show will focus on classic and muscle cars, and off-road trucks. There will be an area with an RTI ramp for trucks competing in
suspension travel. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., the show will feature the “imports and tuners.” Trophies will be awarded for each class of vehicle as well as
some specialty trophies.

The cost to enter a car in the show is $15 for pre-registration and $20 the day of the show. For a dyno competition, the cost is $35 to enter. A mobile
dyno, machine that measures horsepower and torque, will be available.

The show is a benefit for Pandora of Pompano Beach, an organization dedicated to finding cures for chronic fatigue syndrome and Gulf War syndrome.
Providing music for the event is a student organization, webbased college run radio WCRR.
