MELBOURNE, Fla. – (Volleyball) Florida Tech volleyball improved to 15-8 on the season after defeating the West Georgia Wolves three games to one Thursday
night.

blasted 19 kills and Sacha Gumbs tallied five blocks.

Game one found the Panthers struggling to take the lead after multiple ties. When they took control at eight points, they fought through errors to keep
their momentum and won 30-20. Game two started out evenly matched, but the Wolves made a run at seven and took a three-point lead. Tech fought back to make
it a two point game and stayed competitive until the end, but fell short 24-30. The Panthers were confident throughout game three and stayed in control
after a few slip-ups. A Vasconcelos service ace finished the game 30-23 in favor of the home team.

Tech dominated the attack line in game three, hitting .254 to West Georgia’s .138. A Wolf run at seven narrowed the Panthers’ lead, but Tech held on and
widened the gap to win 30-25.

The Panthers remain in the Clemente Center, facing the Flagler Saints on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m.
