– Florida Tech’s TechStart continues its workshop on patents and patenting on Thursdays, Nov. 4 and 11. Each session meets from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m., on
campus, in the F.W. Olin Life Sciences Building, Room 130.
The patenting topics covered include: Nov. 4 – Understanding a Patent Publication, and Nov. 11 – Drafting Patent Applications. The last session is
Interactive Patent Search Skills and will be scheduled for those participating in the first sessions. This computer lab experience facilitates searches on
the United States Patent Office Website and other searches pertinent to individual needs.
Sessions will be led by Dr. Carl Napolitano, a licensed patent agent with Allen, Dyer, Doppelt, Milbrath & Gilchrist, P.A. in Orlando. The workshop may
be attended on a per-session basis. The Nov. 4 and 11 evenings cost $30 each; a final session costs $50.
