Performance Management Conference Set for Florida Tech

– The Society for Performance Management in the School of Psychology at Florida Tech is hosting the conference, Managing Performance by Managing Behavior,
on March 24, 2004 in the Gleason Performing Arts Center, on campus. The conference will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Aubrey C. Daniels, founder and CEO of Aubrey Daniels International Inc. A significant contributor to the field of performance
management, Dr. Daniels founded the main journal in the field, Journal of Organizational Behavior Management. Also speaking at the conference is Jeff
Hairrell, manager of training and development at Blue Cross/ Blue Shield of Alabama.

“The conference will be important to students, professors, managers, supervisors and human resource professionals in all industries, who will receive
practical information on data-based methods of managing employees. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to motivate employees and why
it is important to do so,” said Dr. David Wilder, Florida Tech associate professor of psychology.

The registration deadline is March 8, 2004. The cost is $40 per person by that date or $55 per person after March 8. Cost for students is $20. For more
