Pianist Ron Teixeira in Free Jazz Friday at Foosaner Art Museum Nov. 2

MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Foosaner Art Museum, Florida Institute of Technology, presents jazz pianist Ron Teixeira on Friday, Nov. 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Though largely self-taught, Teixeira mastered piano at Berklee College of Music and spent several years working as a musician in New York City.

Jazz Friday at the Foosaner Art Museum allows visitors to listen to live jazz as they view the current exhibitions for free. The artists on display during this installment of Jazz Friday will be German impressionist Ernst Oppler and American artist/sculptor D.X. Ross. See more of their work at http://www.foosanerartmuseum.org.

The Renee Foosaner Education Center, part of the museum, participates in the Eau Gallie Arts District’s (EGAD) First Friday Art Walk. Hands-on activities and tours of the art studios where workshops and classes are held are offered in conjunction with the Art Walk.
