Regier to Compete in Mens Golf NCAA’s for Second Straight Year

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Justin
Regier
(East Amherst, NY) will represent Florida Tech for the second straight year at the 2007 NCAA
Division II South Regional Men’s Golf Tournament
hosted the University of North Alabama at Robert Trent Jones Trail at the Shoals.

Four other Sunshine State Conference Schools will be joining host University North Alabama in the tournament are Nova Southeastern, Florida Southern,
Barry, and Lynn plus West Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, Valdosta State, and North Alabama from the South Region. Individual competition will be played out
by Jeff Golden from Rollins, Jarred Carlyle and B.J. Hawkins from Arkansas Tech, and C.J. Denmark from Eckerd along with Regier.

Regier, a senior who will be graduating this May with a major in Business will be attending his second straight NCAA Regional Golf Tournament. A year
earlier at the Territory Golf Course in Duncan, OK, Justin finished tied 28th (74-77-76=227) +11 over par and looks to improve this year in Florence,
Alabama.

Justin is a four-year member of the Florida Tech Men’s Golf program and has been a dominate golfer as he has placed in the top three of every category of
Florida Tech Men’s Golf Record Book. Regier’s career stats add up to an average score of 75.30, a 3.43 verses par, and a 65.7 finish percentage. He has
marked a total of eight times in the low 60’s in his career and has a career low of 68 in ‘06-‘07 and a best finish of 2nd in the ‘04-‘05 season.
