Florida Tech Hosts Florida Chrisitan College Tonight

the game
Tonight marks the first ever meeting between the Panthers and Florida Christian College. This is also Florida Tech’s final
tune-up before facing a Sunshine State Conference opponent. The team travels to Miami Shores Saturday to face the Barry University Buccaneers.

on the panthers
Luckily for head coach Billy Mims, Florida Tech is still seeing playing time out of all 16 Panthers. According to the
coach that will help them once conference play begins as he should be able to get fresh legs out on the court on a regular basis. The team, however, has
gotten significant help from its senior All-America candidate of late, E.J. Murray. The starting point guard averaged 26 points and eight assists last week
in a pair of wins for the Cats.

on Florida Christian College
The Suns bring a 2-7 record into tonight’s match-up, most recently playing at Toccoa Falls College.
Although the two teams don’t share any common opponents, FCC did play Embry-Riddle back on Nov. 12 which Tech is no stranger to, holding a 7-2 edge in that
series. The Suns fell to the Eagles by a score of 113-55. FCC also sports a smaller roster than Tech in both depth and size with just eight players and the
tallest athlete standing at 6-5.
