Reinders Named to 2006 Volleyball All-SSC Team

ORLANDO, Fla. (volleyball) – In the release from the Sunshine State Conference, freshman Melissa Reinders (Orlando, Fla.) was named
to the SSC Volleyball All-Freshman Team and received Honorable Mention honors for the 2006 season.

The defensive specialist led the SSC and her team with 581 digs averaging 5.33 per game. These numbers put her 5th overall in Single Season Digs and tied
for 2nd overall for Single Season Digs per Game in the SSC record books. Offensively, Melissa tallied 29 kills, 38 assists, and 28 service aces for the
Panthers on the year.

Reinders also earned SSC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week honors earlier on the year on September 10th adding to her prolific freshman year.
