Rich Abrahams Quartet at Twilight Jazz Jams

– WFIT, a service of Florida Tech, and the city of Palm Bay present Twilight Jazz Jams in Goode Park on August 15th from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm. (rain or shine).
A free program open to the public, Twilight Jazz has become the monthly “do not miss event” in Brevard County.

Featured will be the Rich Abrahams Quartet with Abrahams on keyboard, Al Goldenberg on horns, Ernie Wilson on bass and Dennis Walton on drums. Abrahams has
performed from New York to Miami to Melbourne. A child prodigy Abrahams began taking piano lessons as a youngster in New York and performed in many clubs.
Proficient in many genres of music, Abrahams joined with a big band in the Miami area, performing at country clubs, private parties and area night clubs.

Appearing with Abrahams will be Al Goldenberg on saxophone, flute and vocals. He’s best known as Heidi’s Jazz Club’s “happy hour” horn player and vocalist.
Wilson, on bass, is a well kept secret in Brevard County. Playing the upright bass Wilson can pull off some amazing riffs with his bass. Rounding out the
quartet is drummer Dennis Walton. Hailing from “down under” Walton is always smiling and always there. In demand on cruise ships, Walton also is in demand
in and around Central Florida.

Join us and bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets. Relax and enjoy an afternoon of jazz. Musicians are invited to sit in after the first set.
