Autism-Related Workshop “What Is Applied Behavioral Analysis?” Planned for Sept. 22

MELBOURNE, FLA. – Florida Institute of Technology’s School of Psychology offers free monthly workshops of particular interest to parents, educators and professionals who deal with the issues of autism. They are scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Scott Center for Autism Treatment
Seminar Room.

The Sept. 22 workshop is “What is Applied Behavioral Analysis?”

Florida Tech Professor Jose Martinez-Diaz, Ph.D., BCBA-D, will lead the discussion, which will review the work of behavior analysts including examples and applications in autism and other areas.

The workshops are held in the Seminar Room, located on the second floor of the Scott Center for Autism Treatment at the south end of the Florida Tech campus. Parking is available off Psychology Place, near University Boulevard.
