Rowing to Compete in First Coast Head Race

MELBOURNE, Fla. (Rowing) – Florida Tech’s men’s and women’s rowing teams are set to
compete in Jacksonville, Fla. at the First Coast Head Race on Saturday.   The race is hosted by the Stanton Rowing Foundation, and it begins on the
Saint Johns River and will continue down the ArlingtonRiver in Jacksonville.   In rowing’s first fall regatta, Florida Tech will be competing in four
events. The Panthers will have one team in both the 4+ and 8+ in the women’s championship divisions. In the 4+ the team will be one of seven teams
competing and one of four in the 8+.   In the men’s divisions Florida Tech will have four teams in the men’s championship 4+ and two teams in the
men’s championship 8+. The Panthers will man four of 11 teams competing in the 4+ and two of six teams in the 8+.
