School of Psychology Invites Alumni to Presentation, Reception

– The Florida Tech School of Psychology invites all alumni to attend their choice of a panel discussion or
workshop, followed by a reception on Friday, Feb. 25. Both the discussion and workshop will be 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.; the reception will start at 4:30 p.m. All
will take place in the Clemente Center for Sports and Recreation, on campus.

Leading the panel discussion, geared for alumni with bachelor’s or master’s degrees in psychology, applied behavior analysis, and industrial/organization,
will be Ian Golden, a 1986 graduate and program manager of the Country Acres Children’s Home in Titusville. His topic will be, “Psychology: don’t leave
home without it-essential ways we’ve used our psychology knowledge in our diverse careers.”

The workshop by Dr. Jim Oelschlager, director of Florida Tech’s Counseling and Psychological Services, will appeal to clinical psychologist alumni and will
carry 1.5 Continuing Education credits. His topic is, “What would you recommend to your client? Clinical applications of domestic violence research.”
