Study Abroad – Florida Tech Panther Style

– Summer 2005 brought 27 Florida Tech students to England for the university’s first Oxford Study Abroad Program. “It was beyond my wildest dreams and I
would do it again in a heartbeat,” said Dustin Clauser, a 2005 program student participant.

That successful experience prompts an expanded program for 2006-another six-week course for Summer 2006 in Oxford and two weeks in Italy, June 15-July 1.
Members of the community enrolled in a college or university are welcome to enroll and attend either program for credit.

The Oxford University experience, July 1-August 12, allows community members seeking credit to sit in on lectures on Shakespeare, ethics, world religions
and other topics and to take part in lunches in the 16th century dining hall of Corpus Christi College. The package includes group field trips,
oppor-tunities to attend performances, and play on the famed golf links of St. Andrews.

The Italy program will take participants through Florence, Rome, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast and offers a mini cruise, daily breakfasts and three group
dinners. Community participants will enroll in the world religions course, attend lectures and join in all guided tours and museum visits.

Spaces are available now. Full details for both 2006 travel programs are available at www.fit.edu/iap/oxford.
