Senior Golfer Justin Regier Finishes Collegiate Career
MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. (men’s golf)—Senior Justin Regier (East Amherst, NY) finished up the
final round of the 2007 NCAA Division II South/South Central Super Regional Men’s Golf Tournament shooting a
77 for the 18-holes concluding 54-holes.
For the tournament, Regier had his best day on the second round shooting even par for the 7,126 yardage course at Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals. He
tallied a 10-over par with a 226, notching a 77-72-77 for the regional action.
Justin is a four-year member of the Florida Tech Men’s Golf program and has been a dominate golfer as he has placed in the top three of every category of
Florida Tech Men’s Golf Record Book. Regier’s career stats add up to an average score of 75.30, a 3.43 verses par, and a 65.7 finish percentage. He has
marked a total of eight times in the low 60’s in his career and has a career low of 68 in ‘06-‘07 and a best finish of 2nd in the ‘04-‘05 season.
Host University of North Alabama played a phenomenal tournament as a team shooting 5-under par for an 859 team score. Medalist honors went to Florida Gulf
Coast’s Steven Taylor pushed ahead shooting an amazing seven-under par at 209 notching a final round record of 64.
