Sonny Marble Returns to WFIT- 89.5-FM

– WFIT 89.5-FM, a service of Florida Tech, announces the return to it lineup of classical music host Sonny Marble. Sonny began as WFIT’s classical music
announcer on July 4, 1975, shortly after the station began broadcasting.

He worked at the station for 12 years before leaving to pursue other ventures such as guest columnist with Florida Today and community classical music
promoter. A composer, musician and teacher, Sonny has taught piano to many local students and has been a guest lecturer at several of the local schools.

In response to listener request for more classical programs, Sonny accepted WFIT’s offer to return to the airwaves at 89.5-M. Listen for “Music at Dusk” on
Thursdays from 10 p.m. to midnight, beginning Sept. 8, 2005.

According th station manager, Terri Wright, “Sonny had tears in his eyes while he previewed his program. It is obvious that he truly has a passion for the
music and a breadth of knowledge that is an asset to the community.”
