Picnicking in the gardens

College of Business alumni have opted to hold their annual fall picnic this year among the palms, ferns and other interesting flora (and occasional fauna)
in the Florida Tech Botanical Gardens on Friday September 23 at 5:30 p.m.. In case of a Florida rain shower, the picnickers will take shelter in the
Hartley Room in the nearby student center. This year’s barbecue is also an informal opportunity for alumni, faculty and friends to welcome Dr. David
Steele, new dean of the College of Business. On the menu are chicken, hot dogs, grilled sausage, pasta salad, baked beans, tossed salad, fresh fruit,
cookies, brownies, soft drinks, beer and wine, all compliments of the College of Business. Please R.S.V.P. to Sharon Carnohan at 674-7347 or
