Space Research Scholarship Funds Student Research
MELBOURNE, FLA. Joel Faure, a Florida Tech junior and aerospace engineering major, has earned a $3,000 Space Florida 2006 Undergraduate Space Research
Participation (USRP) grant.
During the 2006-2007 academic year, Faure will work on rocket propellant tank dynamics. He will explore how the temperature and pressure of rocket fuel
changes in flight. His mentor is Dr. Daniel Kirk, Florida Tech assistant professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering.
Florida Tech offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering and mechanical engineering.
