SSC Announces Preseason Volleyball Poll

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference (SSC) released the preseason volleyball poll on Wednesday. Although Florida Tech was selected to finish
ninth, Panther Head Coach Qi Wang is confident in his team.

“We will be successful if we stay healthy, respond to pressure, and give 100 percent,” said Wang. “To me the SSC is a new, blank page. We will decide what
picture we draw.”

The defending NCAA Division II National Champion, Tampa, is expected to finish first in the SSC followed by Florida Southern to finish second and Barry
finishing third.

Florida Tech shows great potential for leadership with 12 upperclassmen, while the incoming class consists of five transfers and two true freshmen. The
veterans have a drive to win and put team effort behind their determination. The newcomers are looking to renew a confidence in Lady Panther capability and
are expecting to transfer their previous success to the court at Florida Tech.
