Tech Cross Country Runs in Disney Classic

MELBOURNE, Fla. (Cross Country) – Florida Tech’s men’s and women’s cross country teams participated in
the Disney Cross Country Classic over the weekend and finished strong. Carolyn Salois Horst was the front runner for the women,
timing in at 19:18 in the 5K race, while Morgan
Davis put in a time of 28:35 in the men’s 8K to lead the Panthers.   The women’s squad finished 23^rd out of 44 teams with a
combined 667 points and the men came in 31^st out of 41 teams with a team score of 769.

Next up for the Panthers is the Sunshine State Conference meet, Oct. 20, in St. Leo, Fla.
