Florida Tech Senior Earns Distinguished Student Award

– The Orlando chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI) has awarded Florida Tech senior Priscilla Arteaga a Distinguished Student Award. The
honor recognizes her outstanding academic achievement in the area accounting and her leadership in cultural and social activities on campus.

Arteaga, a College of Business accounting and business administration major, has earned a perfect, cumulative grade point
average of 4.0. She is also a member of the Florida Tech chapter of the Society for Advancement of Management (SAM). In early April, her SAM team took
second place in the SAM International Case Competition, held in Las Vegas.

Arteaga, who plans to graduate in Dec. 2005, will also be recognized as Outstanding Senior Honor Student at the Florida Tech Honors Convocation on April
21. In 2004 she was the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants Student Scholar as well as a Financial Executive International Scholar.
She is a 2002 graduate of Melbourne High School.
