Townhall for Technology Addresses Contracts
MELBOURNE, FLA.–Florida Tech’s National Center for Small Business Information announces that James D. Shakleford, senior contract manager for Computer
Sciences Raytheon (CSR), will speak at the Space Coast Townhall for Technologists™ forum on Oct. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. Shakleford. A certified professional
purchasing manager, will address basic contracting, the importance of understanding contract structure and the general principles of governing law.
The meeting will be held on campus in the Crawford Science Building, seventh floor conference room.
At CSR, Shakleford’s duties include supervising and coordinating activities relating to contract and service contract administration, administering
specific contract programs and major contract changes, managing and directing effective operation of the CSR Subcontracts Management Group, and daily
interaction with government technical and contracting officers.
The Space Coast Townhall for Technologists™ is a network of support for Space Coast area small businesses that are focused on engineering and technology
