MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Renee Foosaner Education Center of the Foosaner Art Museum, Florida Institute of Technology, will operate a participatory art tent for the ArtWorks Fine Arts Festival Nov. 23 and 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Activities will include hand building in clay, wheel-thrown pottery lessons and an “Imagine Peace” wish-tree project. Held annually during the weekend before the Thanksgiving holiday, the ArtWorks of Eau Gallie Fine Arts Festival centers around the Highland Avenue area of Eau Gallie. The community-oriented event features over 100 artists who will paint “en plein air,” or, paint outdoors. Artists will create art and demonstrate their techniques at the same time, which makes for a unique and extraordinary show. The ArtWorks event will also feature local music and food vendors.
