MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Renee Foosaner Education Center of the Foosaner Art Museum, Florida Institute of Technology, will operate a participatory art tent for the ArtWorks Fine Arts Festival Nov. 23 and 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Activities will include hand building in clay, wheel-thrown pottery lessons and an “Imagine Peace” wish-tree project. Activities are designed for adults and children.

Held annually during the weekend before the Thanksgiving holiday, the ArtWorks of Eau Gallie Fine Arts Festival centers around the Highland Avenue area of Eau Gallie. The community-oriented event features over 100 artists who will paint “en plein air,” or, paint outdoors. Artists will create art and demonstrate their techniques at the same time, which makes for a unique and extraordinary show. The ArtWorks event will also feature local music and food vendors.

The tent will be located on Saint Clair Street on the northwest side of the Renee Foosaner Education Center. All activities, as well as admission to the Foosaner Art Museum, are free to the public.
