Twilight Jazz Presents Ron Pirtle Quintet

– WFIT 89.5FM, a service of Florida Tech, and the Parks and Recreation Department of Palm Bay present Twilight Jazz in the Park. Performing on Sunday,
August 21st, 3 to 6 p.m., will be The Ron Pirtle Quintet.

Pirtle, a gifted and imaginative bassist, leads a group of energetic musicians that have an unerring knack for melody and depth. Emitting a huge, united
sound are saxophonists Brad Baker and Paul Polanski, Stan Soloko’s innovative drumming and vocals, and the extraordinary, mesmerizing talent of pianist
Carl Hendrix.

With a CD to their credit, “Getting in the Groove,” The Ron Pirtle Quintet is in demand and always a pleasure to hear.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics to Goode Park, 1300 Bianca Dr. in Palm Bay for the free, open to the public, Twilight Jazz Jams. Musicians are
invited to sit in after the first set.
