Two Panthers Named to the 2006 Daktronics Division II Mens Soccer All-South Region Team

HOOVER, Ala. (men’s soccer) – In the release from the Gulf South Conference on November 14th regarding the 2006 Daktronics Division II Men’s Soccer
All-South Region Team, senior defender Brian
Lundy (Satellite Beach, Fla.) and freshman forward Ross Allen (Castel, Guernsey, United Kingdom)
was named to the Daktronics Second Team All-South Region Team.

As a defender, Lundy posted two goals and three assists for seven points on the year while the freshman forward Allen posted 14 goals and four assists for
32 total points.

The freshman forward led all SSC freshmen and ended tied for second place among all other SSC players with his 14 goals earning him Freshman of the Year
Honors for 2006. Allen’s four assists ranked him second on Florida Tech for the year. Allen is the loan freshman to be honored to the All-South Region Team
behind four sophomores, eight juniors, and eleven seniors.

The senior captain for his four year stint at Florida Tech totaled six goals and eight assists for 20 points. Lundy was also awarded to the SSC
All-Tournament Team after the SSC Championships this year along with earning Honorable Mention Honors on the year.
