University to Cut Ribbon on New Residence Hall Aug. 13

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 9:30 a.m. to inaugurate the just completed Mary, Star of the Sea residence hall. Attending and speaking will be Florida Tech President and CEO Anthony J. Catanese and Rev. Douglas F. Bailey, SDS, of Florida Tech’s Catholic Campus Ministry.

An opportunity to tour the residence hall will be available after ceremony. Lite refreshments will be served.

The location is 3311 S. Babcock Street, between Florida Avenue and University Boulevard in Melbourne. Limited parking is available at Newman Hall on the site.
