Vaughn Receives SSC Player of the Week Award

ORLANDO, Fla. – Senior Danielle Vaughn
(Tallahassee, Fla.) receives Florida Tech’s women’s basketball teams 3rd SSC Player of the Week Award for her play in the first week of Sunshine State
Conference play of the New Year.

The 5’9 senior guard led the Panthers to a pair of two SSC wins while she averaged 20.5ppg out of the two games. In the first game hosting Lynn University,
Vaughn scored a game high of 25 points hitting .530% of her shots as Tech won by 12 points, 80-68. Facing Florida Southern, Danielle tied with two
teammates as they scored 16 points in the win over the Mocs; 76-71.

For the week, Vaughn scored a total 41 points avg. 20.5ppg on 14-24 from the field shooting .583% and 2-2 from 3-pt range shooting 100%; Danielle also
grabbed 19 boards for 9.5rpg during the week.

Vaughn is a Forensic Psychology major in her last year at Florida Tech. For the season, she is third on the team with 161 total points averaging 12.4ppg
and is first in rebounds with 4.6rpg. She has also accumulated 24 assists and 21 steals for the year.
