WFIT Presents Jazz on the Indian River Queen March 26

MELBOURNE, FLA—Florida Institute of Technology’s WFIT hosts a jazz-themed cruise on the Indian River Queen Paddlewheel Boat March 26. The boat will leave Whitley Bay Marina in Cocoa Beach at 6:30 p.m. and return at 9:30 p.m. Boarding is at 5:30 p.m. The cost of $35 includes a box supper.

Featured artists will perform throughout the boat. The Christian Tamburr Quartet will be on deck in the Queen’s Room. Tamburr will be on vibes with Bobby Thornton on piano, Ben Krammer on bass and Ian Goodman on drums.

On the second deck is Sybil Gage on vocals, Bill Yerkes on piano, Rick Richolson on bass and David Dunscombe on drums.

The cruise is presented by chiropractors Francis Rinaldi and Andre Merrill, and Linda and Jerry Kerwin in memory of their son Matt Lague.
