WFIT Presents Twilight Jazz on the 19th Hole
– WFIT 89.5FM, a service of Florida Tech, and The Majors Golf Club, Bayside Lakes, Palm Bay, present Twilight Jazz on the 19th Hole on Sunday, February 6th
from 3 to 6 p.m. This is a free event open to the public.
The Majors Golf Club is surrounded by lush natural vegetation and populated with Florida Wildlife. It’s a perfect setting not just for golf, but for an
afternoon of jazz; bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the sounds of jazz group, We Three plus One. With pianist Ossie Wright, Roger “Shindig” Robinson on
bass, Rich Hall on drums and another Rich Hall on saxophone, you will be treated to not only jazz standards; Latin jazz; innovative jazz but to great
vocals by drummer Rich Hall (he sounds like Lou Rawls).
Bass player “Shindig” is known for his unparalleled technical facility and his ability to add harmony. Ossie Wright, pianist, is a retired music teacher
from Vero Beach with a wealth of knowledge and a wealth of song-Ossie can play it all. Saxophonist Rich Hall’s true love is straight-ahead jazz but he
enjoys all forms of music as well as backing singers.
Join WFIT in the casual elegance of The Majors Golf Club. Come, sit back and enjoy jazz-America’s Music.
