Womens Business Center Offers Communication Skills Workshop

MELBOURNE, FLA. — By special request, the Florida Tech Women’s Business Center (WBC), in partnership with Facets Consulting Group, presents the high-energy,
interactive one-day workshop, Communication Skills in the Workplace. It will be held Wednesday, May 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on campus in the Denius
Student Center’s Hartley Room.

The concentrated program is designed to provide participants with the skills they need to communicate much more effectively. The class fee of $495 includes
a continental breakfast and buffet lunch. Discounts are available for small businesses and multiple participants.

Program facilitator Sherry Acanfora is president of Facets Consulting Group, LLC. Acanfora, an industrial-organizational (I/O) psychologist, earned a
master’s degree in I/O psychology, an Executive MBA and degrees in computer and electrical engineering. Facets Consulting Group offers diverse consulting
services, which include organizational effectiveness, corporate culture, strategic development and process improvements.
