Womens Business Center Presents “Going Green”

MELBOURNE, FLA.‒ Florida Institute of Technology’s Women’s Business Center will present a Going Green Initiative class on Feb. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. on
campus in the Link Building, Room 327. There is no charge for this class.

The presentation, FPL’s Clean Energy Story, will be by Rick Trendel, FPL certified energy manager. Trendel will discuss FPL’s investment in wind energy
production and its 50-plus wind farms in 16 states. The company has $6 billion invested in wind energy production, which produces no carbon dioxide
emissions. Trendel will offer solutions for the individual business owner that allow for more informed energy decisions.
