Womens Business Center Presents Marketing and Publicizing on a Small Budget

MELBOURNE, FLA.‒ Florida Institute of Technology’s Women’s Business Center will present a seminar with Jean Newell, president of Newco, on Feb. 4. The
seminar will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on campus in the Hartley Room of the Denius Student Center, second floor.

Newell will share ideas on how to obtain free publicity and will offer marketing tips for how to keep your product or service in demand for a long time.
Her 25 years of marketing and real estate development promotion experience earned her the know-how to create and market her own invention, the personal
utility pouch (PUP). She now offers the PUP on the QVC channel where she has made 35 appearances as the guest inventor and sold over $1.5 million in PUPs.

Her presentation will include how to trade expensive ads for free publicity, tips to increase your Web site popularity, the three things you never ask a
reporter, how to get other people to pay for your marketing, how to define your marketing campaign, and what you can do immediately to kick-start your
publicity.
