Womens Business Center Presents Networking for Women: Business Ideas vs. Business Opportunities

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Institute of Technology’s Women’s Business Center will present Networking for Women on Feb. 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The guest
speaker, Florida Tech College of Business faculty member Carolyn Fausnaugh, Ph.D., will discuss “Going the Distance: Business ideas vs. Business
Opportunities” on campus in the Hartley Room of the Denius Student Center, second floor. The lecture is free.

Fausnaugh, an assistant professor of strategy and new ventures, conducts workshops and seminars nationally. Her entrepreneurial and financial management
career spans more than 40 years. She has advised hundreds of companies ranging from small start-ups to IBM. Her consulting has been in such areas as
strategy, financial growth and management, including managing cash flow, taxation, corporate infrastructure and investor relations. She has founded and
sold two companies.

The goal of Networking for Women is to guide and support women in building professional relationships aimed at career advancement. Though not mandatory,
