Womens Tennis Downed by #4 Florida Southern in SSC Play

MELBOURNE, Fla. – In their last regular season match against the #4 Moccasins from Florida Southern, the Florida Tech Women’s Tennis team ended up on the
short end of the match losing 5-0.

The highlight of match game from previous Sunshine State Conference Player of Week Natalia Ramos (San Juan, Puerto Rico) who was defeating #11 Meri Gol 6-3
in second singles but with weather brewing in the area the match went unfinished.

Tech finished the regular season with their best record in Florida Tech Women’s Tennis history of 9-12 overall and 1-6 in the SSC. The Panthers are waiting
seeding for the Sunshine State Conference Tournament hosted by The University of Tampa at the City of Tampa Tennis Complex (Hillsborough CC) starting on
April 19th.
