Bluegrass in the Park

– WFIT 89.5FM, a service of Florida Tech, and the Palm Bay Parks and Recreation Dept. present Bluegrass in the Park, Sunday, March 13, from 3 to 6 p.m. The
concert, in Goode Park on Bianca Drive, features Susan Pounds and Friends.

Susan jams on the mandolin, friends play the Dobro-a type of acoustic steel guitar, and others will be on the fiddle, banjo and acoustic bass.

There are no electric instruments in Bluegrass; it is entirely acoustic instrumentation. When you add the singing, it is a special afternoon of just plain
“good ole music” with lots of fun mixed in. Join Susan and friends. Bring the kids, some snacks and lawn chairs or blankets and have a fun-filled afternoon
of Bluegrass in the Park.
