MELBOURNE, FLA.—At Florida Institute of Technology it’s possible to learn Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from one of the leaders in the field, noted applied behavior analyst Mark Sundberg, Ph.D, BCBA-D.
Sundberg will present the Florida Tech ABA Online Program four-course series, “Verbal Behavior:From Theory to Practice.” The series workshops will earn learners Type 2 continuing education units to maintain BACB® certification (BCBA® or BCaBA®).
Sundberg serves on the Board of Directors of the B.F. Skinner Foundation. He is the author of the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (the VB-MAPP); co-author of The ABLLS (Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills): Teaching Language to Children with Autism or Other Developmental Disabilities; and A Collection of Reprints on Verbal Behavior. He has published almost 50 professional papers, including a chapter titled, “Verbal Behavior” in Cooper, Heron, & Heward (2007). Sundberg received his doctoral degree in applied behavior analysis from Western Michigan University in 1980 under the direction of Jack Michael.
