Forum Focuses on Financial Literacy

MELBOURNE, FLA.–Florida Tech’s College of Business will present a Faculty/Industry Forum on April 11, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Hartley Room of the Denius
Student Center.
Free and open to the public, the forum, on financial literacy, will be a panel discussion, moderated by Karen Chambliss, associate professor, College of
Business.
Scheduled presenters include Gina Gallo, CFP®, CDFA, a Partner of Gallo and Russell, Certified Financial Planner Professionals; Dale Russell, CFP®, also a
Partner of Gallo and Russell; and Jay Lally, Florida Tech’s Director of Financial Aid.
Gallo will cover issues dealing with budgeting, credit cards and building a credit history; Russell will focus on investments, including home ownership and
401(k) retirement plans, and taxes; Lally will discuss financial aid, especially student loan consolidation and repayment options. There will be a short
question and answer session after each panelist speaks.
