Dr. Carstens’ research published
Dr. Deborah Carstens, assistant professor of management information systems, has been notified that a journal article she submitted, “Usability Studies of
Travel Websites,” will be published in the November issue of the Journal of Usability Studies, Issue 1, Volume 1. Dr. Carstens is the first author and her
graduate research assistant Pauline Patterson is the second author. Earlier in November she was invited by DRS Optronics to make a presentation on
ergonomics evaluation at their Environmental Health and Safety Roundtable. And in July Dr. Carstens presented an invited paper on Human Factors in
Medicine: Task and Error Analysis, which was documented in the Proceedings of the Human Computer Interaction International 2005 in Las Vegas.
