Florida Tech has definitely helped me grow as a student-athlete and an individual. I am currently a sophomore at FIT. I started out last year with the team in the fall as a walk-on, just doing the simple training and weight lifting.

I learned quickly that college was not in any way like high school, and that I had to learn how to schedule my time and take care of myself. Once I learned what I had to do, I came back in the spring, improved my grades and tried out for the kicker position, which I made. I worked as hard as I could to get this position along with going to school.

I can truly say that the little struggle I had made me stronger. I am proud to be a part of this amazing football team. The team is great, so are the coaches. They work with every player and always make sure we are on top of things.
