MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Tech’s Master of Business Administration in Project Management at the Bisk College of Business has been reaffirmed by the Project Management Institute Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (GAC).
Degree programs that achieve GAC accreditation must demonstrate and meet the Center’s rigorous global standards of accreditation, which include an assessment of each program’s objectives and outcomes, as well as faculty and student evaluations, onsite and online resources, annual self-evaluation, and proof of continuous improvements in project management education.
Additionally, GAC accreditation ensures the quality of academic degree programs and their graduates in order to meet the standards of the rapidly growing field of project management (PM).
“Our MBA in Project Management program stands as a stellar example of our commitment to providing students the skills and experience they need to be successful in their field,” said Christian Sonnenberg, Ph.D., associate dean of academics at the Bisk College of Business. “Our courses are not only practical, but applicable, backed by dedicated PM professionals who foster active engagement and comprehensive assessments that closely mirror the real-world experience of a project manager. We pride ourselves on an academic culture that extends beyond the classroom, through such initiatives as our PM mentoring programs and job networking opportunities.”
Florida Tech’s MBA in Project Management is designed for professionals from diverse backgrounds seeking advanced leadership positions in the private, public and military sectors. The program provides students an exceptional combination of practical project management knowledge and tools and the broader business skills in strategy, leadership, communication and performance management.
Just 135 project management degree programs in 22 countries have earned GAC accreditation.
