Florida Tech to Host Nov. 18 Lunch and Learn: Balancing Social Media and Your Time

MELBOURNE, FLA. —The Florida Institute of Technology Women’s Business Center (WBC) will host “Lunch and Learn: Balancing Social Media and Your Time” Nov. 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The event will be held at the Denius Student Center’s Hartley Room and the cost is $20.

Presenters are Richard and Cheri Martin of WCN Interactive Inc. They link creativity with technology to deliver effective Internet marketing strategies designed to help attract more business.
Social media has transformed the business marketing and advertising scene with new opportunities, but keeping up with the tweets, posts and blogs can be overwhelming. This interactive workshop will offer tips, tools and techniques for managing your social media efforts to make them effective for growing a business. The seminar will teach how search engines and social media can attract highly interested prospects. Topics will include:

· Time-saving tools to post and schedule posts

· Resources for expanding the sphere of influence

· Activity tracking instructions for accountability
