Florida Tech Womens Business Center to Offer Free Marketing Seminar Dec. 9
MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Florida Institute of Technology Women’s Business Center (WBC) and the Small Business Development Centers will offer a free seminar, “Mastering Marketing in 2012,” on Dec. 9, sponsored by Constant Contact, an online marketing company. The seminar, led by Pamela Starr, Constant Contact regional director, will be held on campus at the Denius Student Center’s Hartley Room, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Donn Miller-Kermani, WBC director, will also discuss the importance of social media and a social media plan.
“Old marketing strategies no longer work for many organizations, but the great news is new marketing strategies are easier and more affordable than ever,” said Miller-Kermani. Starr, a leading email and social media marketing expert, will demonstrate how businesses can identify the right online marketing strategies; get more business from existing customers; get more qualified referrals; reach more prospects; obtain free online recommendations; and use email and social media marketing to broaden their contact base.
