Seniors to Display Array of Projects at Florida Tech

– An airplane that Florida Tech students are retrofitting to run on high-efficiency fuel-cells will be on display April 16, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the
university’s Clemente Center. The plane, on loan from Diamond Aircraft of Austria, will join an exhibition of senior capstone design projects. Other
projects include the Formula SAE Car, Q-motor rocket and radio-controlled submersible airplane.

Florida TechStart representatives will also be there to explain the organization’s function as a business accelerator for entrepreneurs and high-tech
companies. Florida TechStart is a joint effort of the College of Engineering and School of
Management
. Also exhibiting will be capstone project sponsors, who have contributed time, money and in-kind support to the students.

The Clemente Center is located on University Blvd., near the corner of Babcock St.
