Forbes: Florida Tech Online CIS Concentration Among Best in US
Magazine Recognized 10 Online Information Systems Degree Programs
MELBOURNE, FLA. — The online business administration degree with a computer information systems concentration offered through Florida Tech’s Bisk College of Business was named a top national program in new rankings from Forbes.
Looking at programs in the information systems field, including both computer information systems and management information systems, the magazine evaluated the offerings of 35 U.S. universities.
It scored schools using 16 data points in the categories of credibility, affordability, student outcomes, student experience and application process, such as student-to-faculty ratio, acceptance rate, median earnings after 10 years and socioeconomic diversity.
The ten highest-scoring programs were compiled, and Florida Tech was among them. The university’s 82% overall student retention rate was the highest among ranked schools.
Forbes also praised Florida Tech for using asynchronous delivery, which allows students to complete assignments on their own schedules.
