Free Seminar on Expanding Your Business Meets on March 3
MELBOURNE, FLA. — In a challenging economic environment, business expansion require careful evaluation. To promote the healthy growth of businesses, the
Florida Institute of Technology Women’s Business Center (WBC) and OnPoint Solutions Group Inc. present the free seminar, “Expanding Your Business.” It will
be held on Tuesday, March 3, from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in Florida Tech’s Skurla Aeronautics Building, Room 110.
The seminar will explore increasing sales, expanding the customer base and accessing resources and the global marketplace. Topics include local and
government resources, new markets, retaining profits while expanding, developing a global trade business plan, commercial financing, effective freight
forwarding and effective importing and customs clearance.
Expert speakers will include Donn Miller-Kermani, director of the Florida Tech Women’s Business Center; Kathryn Toomey, president of OnPoint Solutions
group; Mary E. Hernandez, U.S. Small Business Administration; Julie Song, Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast; Malvina Gasco,
Enterprise Florida; Dustin Hodgkins, Commercial Business Finance; Paul Bretz, president of Priority One International; and John Varndell of Varndell
Customs.
