Womens Business Center to Hold Direct Selling Fair March 25

MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Women’s Business Center (WBC) at Florida Institute of Technology will hold the Earn and Learn Direct Sellers Fair on March 25. The free event is a joint partnership with Indian River State College (IRSC), Small Business Development Center at IRSC, Entrepreneurial Development Institute at IRSC and Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers. It will be at the IRSC’s Richardson Center in Vero Beach, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants can network and speak with more than 35 direct-selling companies to learn more about opportunities and the organizations. The participating direct selling businesses are members of the Direct Selling Association. Representatives from Accion, USA; the Small Business Development Center at IRSC and Florida Tech’s WBC will be on hand to answer questions. Participants may also attend any or all of the following workshops: What is Direct Selling?; Self-Motivation for Peak Productivity; Sales Skills That Get Results; Developing Yourself as a Leader; Time Management for Busy People; and Using Social Media to Grow Your Business.

The fair is made possible by a grant from the Direct Sellers Education Foundation through the Association of Women Business Centers.

Those who are interested in becoming self-employed through direct selling are encouraged to participate. There is no charge to attend. Registration is required at www.irscbiz.com.
