Neuhard to Present Top 10 Tactics for Online Marketing March 20
MELBOURNE, FLA.—Jennifer Neuhard, assistant vice president of marketing at Florida Institute of Technology, will speak at the Founders Forum dinner March 20. The event will be held starting at 6 p.m. with networking; dinner is 7-8 p.m.; the program starts at 8 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront on Highway A1A in Indialantic.
Neuhard will share best online practices used by the university to reach and attract students, leverage social media and promote the brand as part of an overall marketing and communications strategy.
Appointed Florida Tech’s first director of marketing in 2009, Neuhard was tasked with building the department from the ground up. Today, as assistant vice president for university marketing, she leads a team of four in engaging prospective students from all over the world through innovative, cross-platform and multi-channel campaigns. She coordinates the university’s advertising, branding, and online and social media initiatives, and works closely with the communications and creative services offices to implement effective strategies. Although student recruitment is the primary goal, her department also supports other campus-based events such as Sporting Affair and Botanical Fest, as well as entities such as the Foosaner Art Museum and The Scott Center for Autism Treatment.
Neuhard is also committed to service and leadership outside of the workplace. As a volunteer Florida Guardian ad Litem, she helps give abused, abandoned and neglected foster children a voice by advocating their best interests in court. She served on the board of Connected by 25 Brevard, helping young people who “age out” of foster care make successful transitions to adulthood. She now serves as secretary for Friends of Children of Brevard, an organization that supports children in foster care.
The dinner meeting is $35 with pre-registration; $40 at the door; and $20 for students with pre-registration. Corporate sponsor tables are also available. To register online, visit: www.foundersforum.com. To register by phone, call
