Petrodollars and Global Competition Presentations

Dr. John Patton, D.B.A., associate professor of management, will be crisscrossing the country discussing global competition and petrodollars at several
conferences this fall. He will present two papers during the September conference on Changing Business and Economic Development of Gulf Countries: Risk
Perception and Investment Opportunities at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester. The first paper is entitled “Global Competition for Persian
gulf Hydrocarbon Resources,” and the second, “Gulf Cooperation Council Countries to form a Monetary Union.” In October Dr. Patton will travel to
Scottsdale, Ariz., to the conference of the Institute of Behavioral and Applied Management. He will present two papers, one entitled “High Court Expands
Legal Horizon for Age Bias Claims,” and the other entitled “Leadership Benefits of Storytelling.” And in November he will attend the conference of the
Academy of International Business-Southeast in Charleston, S.C. His paper is titled “Petrodollars and Economics Development in the Persian Gulf Region.”
Dr. Patton teaches marketing principles and international business.
